Andy has over 30 years of technical, commercial and leadership experience across energy transition and legacy hydrocarbon value chains. He currently operates as an independent commercial & business development consultant and most recently led development of the UK’s largest announced eSAF project, where his responsibilities included leading evidence-based advocacy towards local and national government.

A strong advocate for delivery of the UK’s Net Zero commitments, Andy has developed a particular interest in supporting the rollout of commercial-scale long duration energy storage and heat decarbonisation, both critical to building decarbonisation momentum through the second half of the decade. He is therefore pleased to have the opportunity to support the work of the Energy Storage Association and its growing membership.
