Join the ESA and stay ahead of what’s happening in the energy storage sector through our regular communications. Help influence the future agenda with our engagement with major stakeholders and government departments.

As we continue to grow and add members, we will strengthen our position to lobby and fully represent all our members across all technologies and applications. See below the benefits of the various levels of membership.

Founder member

Our founder members joined us from the beginning to help fund the initial set up and get our trade association off the ground. As key supporters each founder member provides key resource and nominates a board member to help steer the ESA future direction.

Full member

Our members form the backbone of the ESA and are generally organisations that have a significant presence in the storage of energy through, heat, electricity, hydro, hydrogen or other means, either through manufacture, distribution, installation, developer, operator, etc.

Associate

Our associate members are typically for start ups or smaller organisations or those with a passing interest in storage, where it's important to stay up to date with everything happening in the ESA world.

Academic

Our academic members are for full time academic establishments or charities that wish to use their time and expertise to support the ESA's drive to make energy storage at the heart of a future energy transition.
